Ram Mandir Inauguration: Know the Top 10 Projects Announced by PM Modi

The Ram Mandir inauguration is set for January 22, 2024. Before this event, the Uttar Pradesh government, along with PM Narendra Modi, has announced significant projects for Ayodhya. These initiatives aim to enhance the city’s infrastructure and development, reflecting a commitment to various improvements in the region.

According to report, during his visit, he is set to launch several projects in Ayodhya worth a total of ₹15,000 crore. These projects include the airport, railway station, highway, and the expansion of a railway line before Ram Mandir inauguration. Additionally, four main roads will also be opened as part of these initiatives.

1.) PM Modi opened the Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, built at a cost of over ₹240 crore. The station has a three-story building with modern amenities like elevators, escalators, food areas, and childcare rooms. Importantly, it’s designed to be easily accessible for everyone and has been certified as a green station building by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

2.) The Prime Minister launched the Amrit Bharat trains on Saturday at 11 am. The Amrit Bharat Express is a train with non-air-conditioned coaches. It has comfortable seats, better luggage racks, mobile charging points, LED lights, CCTV cameras, and a public information system.

3.) The Prime Minister has launched two Amrit Bharat trains: the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.

4.) six new Vande Bharat Trains also introduced, improving the country’s railway network. These Vande Bharat Express trains will run on various routes like Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, Mangalore-Madgaon, and Jalna-Mumbai

5.) The Prime Minister inaugurated three railway projects worth ₹2,300 crore. These projects involve adding a third line to the Rooma Chakeri-Chanderi route, doubling the Jaunpur-Tulsi Nagar, Akbarpur-Ayodhya, Sohawal-Patranga, and Safdarganj-Rasauli sections in the Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki project, and doubling and electrifying the Malhaur-Daliganj railway section.

6.) During Modi’s visit to Ayodhya, he has opened the new Ayodhya Airport. Additionally, he have take part in a public event where the Prime Minister launch development projects totaling over ₹15,700 crore in the state before Ram Mandir inauguration. These projects include initiatives worth around ₹11,100 crore for Ayodhya and its nearby regions, along with projects amounting to about ₹4,600 crore for various developments across Uttar Pradesh.

7.) PM Modi also opened the development and beautification of tourist facilities from Naya Ghat to Laxman Ghat. Other projects include building a visitor gallery for events like Deepotsav and improving the pilgrim path from Ram Ki Paidi to Raj Ghat and Raj Ghat to Ram Temple.

8.) Ayodhya’s cityscape will see the introduction of a new Greenfield township, valued at over ₹2,180 crore, and the Vashishtha Kunj Residential Scheme, with an estimated cost of around ₹300 crore.

9.) Moreover, PM Modi started the construction of several infrastructure projects. These include the Lucknow-Ayodhya section of NH-28 (new NH-27), improvements to the current Ayodhya bypass, setting up the CIPET center, and building offices for the Municipal Corporation Ayodhya and Ayodhya Development Authority.

10.) Modi is set to open important projects in Uttar Pradesh. These include expanding Gosain Ki Bazar Bypass-Varanasi (Ghaghra Bridge-Varanasi) (NH-233) to four lanes, improving the Khutar to Lakhimpur section of NH-730, and increasing the capacity of the LPG plant in Trishundi, Amethi district.

Other projects involve setting up Sewage Treatment Plants in Pankha (30 MLD) and Jajmau (130 MLD), addressing drains in Unnao, and launching a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) for the Tannery Cluster at Jajmau in Kanpur.
