Ayodhya Dham Is To Be New Name Of Ayodhya Railway Station, What New Facilities Are There?

The Ayodhya Railway station has a new name, “Ayodhya Dham” Junction, according to BJP leader Lallu Singh.

He mentioned that this change was made under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aligning with the sentiments of the public. This announcement was shared on X, previously known as Twitter.

How Is The Structure of Newly Designed Ayodhya Dham Junction?

The concourse, a big area on the first floor of the station, covers 7200 square meters. The construction is happening in three phases, and they’ve finished the first part, as mentioned in the press release.

The main dome of the station building, which is more than 11,000 square meters, is designed like Lord Ram’s crown. There’s a discus behind the crown that represents the sun, and two towers on the two-story building are inspired by the Janaki temple. Between these towers, there are seven smaller structures called mandapas.

During the day, the station needs very little electricity because the design allows a lot of natural light. Also, they have a system to collect rainwater to save water. The water sent to the sewage treatment plant can be cleaned and used again.

Who Will Be Chief Guest During Inauguration of Ayodhya New Railway Station?

The Prime Minister is set to open the new Ayodhya airport and railway station on December 30. This redevelopment project, initiated a couple of years ago, was carried out by RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) Limited, a government undertaking.

The station stands out for its well-planned development, offering facilities that even surpass those found in airports in terms of quality and convenience. The railway station boasts features like infant care, a sick room, a tourist information center, a fire exit, and the country’s largest concourse, as stated by the UP government.
