Taapsee Pannu is really happy about the success of Dunki. In a recent interview with The Times of India, she talked about working with Shah Rukh Khan in the Rajkumar Hirani movie.
When they first met for Dunki, Taapsee said she kind of froze in the moment. Despite Shah Rukh’s big onscreen presence, she found him to be a friendly and welcoming person, not intimidating at all.

He’s warm and friendly. Still, seeing the same person you’ve watched on the big screen for years makes you freeze. After the first few meetings, I had to remind myself, ‘he’s just sitting in front of me’… outwardly confident but mentally feeling a bit overwhelmed. It took me a couple of days to get used to it.”
How Taapsee Described Her Romantic Scenes With Shah Rukh Khan From Dunki?
When asked about acting romantically with Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee shared that in the beginning, when Shah Rukh looked at her affectionately, it was tough for her not to freeze.
She explained, “It’s like déjà vu when his eyes meet yours, and you instantly remember those classic romantic scenes from his movies that we all adore. Since we had many scenes together, in the early days when he looked at me with love, it was challenging not to get caught up in that moment.”

Taapsee Pannu, known for her roles in popular films like Pink, Naam Shabana, and Thappad, teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time in the movie Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
The film, released on December 21, is a collaboration between Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Alongside Shah Rukh and Taapsee, it features Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani.
Dunki follows a group of friends using an illegal immigration method known as the ‘Donkey Flight’ to travel from India to London. Taapsee, who entered Bollywood in 2013 with Chashme Baddoor, expressed her excitement about working with Shah Rukh Khan and praised his warm and welcoming personality during their collaboration.

During an event in Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned, as per report “When I made Jawan, I thought it was a film for both boys and girls, but it wasn’t something personal for me. Then I made Dunki, which is my film.
It’s very special to me. I began the year with Pathaan, where it’s always ‘ladies first,’ and now I want to end the year with a film just for myself. Please watch Dunki on December 21.
