In a similar situation, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated that the dispute over Congress boycotting the event is a result of the BJP’s conspiracy. Who is Not Going To Attend Ram Mandir Inauguration on 22 January?

Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury won’t be present at the upcoming event in Ayodhya, according to a statement from the Congress. This has sparked a big controversy, with the BJP criticizing the Congress as anti-Hindu.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma suggested that the Congress leaders shouldn’t have been invited in the first place. He mentioned attending the event could have been a way to undo their earlier mistake.

BJP leaders also shared a photo of Rahul Gandhi visiting Babur Tomb in Kabul in 2005, claiming that Congress’s dislike is directed towards Hindus. Some Congress members, however, expressed the view that the party’s leadership should have attended the event.

BJP And Congress Debate Before Ram Mandir Inauguration

On Friday, the BJP shared a video claiming that opposing Lord Ram has been a tradition of the Congress. In response, the Congress questioned why the BJP wasn’t asking the four Shankaracharyas who won’t be attending the Ram Mandir Inauguration

The Congress stated that leaders from the Uttar Pradesh Congress committee will visit the temple on January 15. They raised a question about whether one needs an invitation to visit a place of worship, be it a temple, church, or mosque.

They expressed concerns about a political party deciding who goes and on what date. Congress leader Pawan Khera added, “We want to know how the date was chosen. It seems like the date was selected with an eye on elections, not based on a thoughtful decision.”
