Interestingly, Raveena Tandon was initially considered for Rani Mukerji’s role in the movie. In a recent interview, Raveena Tandon mentioned that Karan Johar jokingly blames her for not taking up the role in “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.”

Recently, Raveena Tandon had a conversation with Hindustan Times. She talked about Karan Johar’s perspective on her decision not to take up the role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Raveena shared, “Even now, Karan holds me responsible for not doing Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (the part played by Rani Mukerji). I told him, ‘Give me something else.’ There was also a Dharma film that Varun Sood and I were supposed to do together, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.”
