TNPSC Application Form Online: One Time Registration Process
- For TNPSC Application Form Online Candidates need to first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform on the Commission’s website before filling out the online application for the examination. The registration requires a one-time fee of Rs. 150, and it remains valid for five years from the date of registration.
- Candidates should have a scanned passport-size photograph (20 KB – 50 KB, saved as “Photograph.jpg”) and a signature (10 KB – 20 KB, saved as “Signature.jpg”) taken within the last three months, both at 200 DPI resolution. These files should be saved on a CD/DVD/Pendrive for uploading.
- For each examination, candidates need to submit a separate online application. They should provide a valid email ID and mobile number during one-time registration.
- Candidates are also required to link their Aadhaar number with OTR for identification purposes, with the information used only for authentication and not stored or shared. After consent, Aadhaar details will be submitted to the Central Identities Data Repository for authentication.
Application Form Registration Process
- To apply for TNPSC Application Form Online, candidates should click on the “APPLY” option on the Commission’s website using the User ID and Password from the One Time Registration (OTR). They need to verify OTR details before filling in additional information for the specific recruitment.
- Candidates must upload a recent passport-size color photograph taken after the notification date. The photo should be against a white background, showing the candidate in a frontal view with both ears and part of the neck visible. The candidate’s name and date of photography should be printed at the bottom. The image should be in digital format (on CD/DVD/pen drive/hard drive) for uploading.
- Before uploading the signature, candidates must draw a box of 6.0 x 2.0 cm on white paper, sign within it using blue or black ink, and scan it at 200 DPI. The cropped image, showing only the signature box, should be saved as “Signature.jpg” and uploaded.
- Candidates can choose two district centers (candidates with benchmark disabilities can choose one) for the examination while applying online. They should carefully fill in details, verify each field, and click on ‘SAVE AND PROCEED.’
- Before submission, candidates can preview the application. An SMS will notify them of the preview’s availability in the registered email when clicked. Modifications are possible through the Edit option.
- After thorough review, candidates can submit the application using the SUBMIT button. Once submitted, the examination fee of ₹100 can be paid online through Net Banking/Credit card/Debit card, along with applicable service charges, on or before the last date of submission.
