Team India Lineup For 2 Test Against England is Announced, No Place For Pujara And Rahane

The team India lineup for the first two Test matches against England has been announced by the BCCI. The matches will start on January 25 in Hyderabad. Dhruv Jurel, a wicketkeeper-batsman from Uttar Pradesh, has received his first national team call-up. He will be the third wicketkeeping option after KL Rahul and KS Bharat.

However, experienced players Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane have not been included in the squad, and Ishan Kishan is also not part of the team. The rest of the batting lineup is similar to the one that played in South Africa.

The Indian team selectors have chosen the same batting lineup that played in the South Africa series, including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Surprisingly, they did not consider Pujara, known for his solid Test game, and Ajinkya Rahane for this selection.

Avesh Khan has joined the fast bowling group led by vice-captain Jasprit Bumrah, which also includes Mohammed Siraj and Mukesh Kumar. In the upcoming matches against England in India, the team plans to use spin bowlers significantly. Kuldeep Yadav has been chosen to support the regular spinners R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel.

The India vs England series is set to begin on January 25th, with the first match. The second test will start on February 2nd, followed by the third test on February 15th, the fourth test on February 23rd, and the final fifth test on March 7th.
