Rohit Sharma is Not Included in MI Poster

Mumbai Indians recently posted a picture announcing the Team India squad for the England Test series. The poster featured KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Jasprit Bumrah, but surprisingly, it didn’t include India’s captain, Rohit Sharma.

How Fans Reacted to This?

Mumbai Indians (MI) included the names of the players in their announcement but didn’t include a photo of the former captain, Rohit Sharma. This upset Rohit Sharma’s fans, and they expressed their frustration in the comments.

It’s worth noting that MI had already faced criticism from Rohit’s fans when they chose to replace him as captain for the IPL 2024 season. Hardik Pandya, who was traded from Gujarat Titans (GT), was appointed as the new captain shortly after the transfer.

Rohit Sharma’s fans are not happy with Mumbai Indians because they removed him as captain. This latest post has made them even more upset. A lot of MI fans, in the thousands, have unfollowed MI on Instagram, according to a report.

The new MI captain, Hardik Pandya, is also facing mean comments on social media. When he was at the airport in Mumbai, people were shouting Rohit Sharma’s name. But the current captain hasn’t said anything about the negativity he’s been getting since taking on the new job, which surely has its challenges.
