People in Pakistan don’t want an American company involved in the cricket tournament because the United States is supporting Israel in the conflict with Palestine. Israel has been attacking Gaza in response to an earlier attack by Hamas, leading to the loss of lives, including children and women.

About PSL T20 League
The PSL is the second most popular T20 cricket competition after the Indian Premier League. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) makes a lot of money from the tournament, where six teams, including top international players, compete. The league started in 2015, and teams play group stage matches in a double round-robin format. The top four teams then go to the playoffs.
There have been eight seasons, and only Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars have won the title twice. The current champions, Lahore Qalandars, are the only team to defend their title after winning in PSL 2023. Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators, and Karachi Kings have each won the title once.
