Instead, he is training with his Mumbai Indians teammate Hardik Pandya in Baroda and will be playing in Mumbai’s DY Patil T20 tournament to prepare for the Indian Premier League (IPL). Because Kishan is focusing on T20 cricket and not playing first-class matches, the BCCI has now made it mandatory for players to participate in a minimum number of Ranji Trophy games to be eligible for the IPL auction.
