This exciting achievement took place during a Tri-series involving Namibia, Nepal, and the Netherlands at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Loftie-Eaton’s outstanding performance helped Namibia reach a total of 206. With support from Ruben Trumpelmann’s four wickets, Namibia successfully defended their target, and Nepal was bowled out for 186 in 18.5 overs.

Jan Nicol Loftie Eaton, born on March 15, 2001, is a cricketer from Namibia. He started playing first-class cricket for Namibia in the 2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, making his debut on February 8, 2018.

In March 2021, he was selected for Namibia’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad against Uganda and played his first T20I match on April 3, 2021. In September 2021, he was chosen for Namibia’s squad in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Later, in November 2021, he was included in Namibia’s One Day International (ODI) squad for the 2021 Namibia Tri-Nation Series. He made his ODI debut on November 27, 2021, playing for Namibia against Oman.
