The ICC announced the schedule for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. India is in Group A with Pakistan, Ireland, the USA, and Canada. In Group B, there’s England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, and Oman.
New Zealand is in Group C with the West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. South Africa is in Group D with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, and Nepal. The first match, USA vs Canada, kicks off on June 1, and the final is set for June 29 in Barbados.
The tournament has a new format, making it more competitive. The teams are split into five groups of four, and the top two from each group move on to the Super 8s stage.
India In Group Stage in T20 World Cup 2024
India is set to play all their initial matches in the USA for the T20 World Cup 2024. They will begin their campaign against Ireland on June 5th in New York. However, the much-anticipated match between India vs Pakistan is generating a lot of excitement.
This match is scheduled for June 9th and is expected to be an intense second group stage game for both teams. The match will be held at a temporary stadium specially built for this event in New York.

In the T20 World Cup 2024, they changed how teams play. India, West Indies, the United States, Australia, England, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, and Sri Lanka are the main teams. They split these teams into five groups, each with four teams.
India, for example, will play all their first matches in the USA. The two best teams from each group will go to the Super 8s stage, where the competition gets even more intense. This new way of playing makes the tournament more exciting and competitive.
