What Rohit Sharma Said After Match?

We weren’t good enough to win. KL Rahul batted well after we were asked to bat, but we didn’t take advantage of the playing conditions when bowling. Today, our batting performance wasn’t up to the mark either.

To win Test matches, we need to work together as a team, and that didn’t happen this time. Many of us have played here before, so we knew what to expect, and each player had their own plan.

However, our batsmen faced challenges and didn’t adapt effectively. This ground is known for scoring boundaries, and the opposition did that well. We didn’t perform well in both innings, and that’s why we find ourselves in this situation.

Dean Elgar Was Player of The Match, What He Said?

It was a special innings. Sometimes plans don’t work, but I’m happy it did today. Keep things simple in this complex game—focus on the ball, play straight, and be patient. Good partnerships with Tony and Jansen.

To win Tests, you need bowlers to take 20 wickets. KG and Nandre were brilliant. The weather was cloudy, and the crowd in Pretoria loves cricket. Winning the first of a 2-Test series is crucial; Indians are tough to beat. It’s about riding the good times and having the right players.
