ICC Top T20 Team 2023: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected the best T20 team for 2023, with Suryakumar Yadav appointed as the captain. Three other Indian players have also been included in the team, but no players from Pakistan made the cut.

The ICC T20 team for the year includes 4 Indian players, along with two players from Zimbabwe, one from England, one from the West Indies, one from Ireland, and one from New Zealand. Interestingly, a player from Uganda has also been included in the team. Notably, no player from the Pakistan team has been selected in the ICC T20 team.
Team India Players in ICC T20 Best Team
The ICC has selected a T20 team featuring young Indian talents like Yashasvi Jaiswal, spinner Ravi Bishnoi, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, and explosive batsman Suryakumar Yadav, who led Team India to victory against Australia. Suryakumar has been appointed as the captain of the ICC team.
From Other Country
The lineup also includes Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza and fast bowler Richard Ngarwa, along with Mark Chapman from New Zealand, Phil Salt from England, and Ireland’s all-rounder Mark Adair. West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran is chosen as the wicketkeeper. Surprisingly, Uganda’s Alpesh Ramjani has also been given an opportunity in the team.

No Place For Kohli And Rohit in ICC Top T20 Team 2023
Excluding the Afghanistan T20 series, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s last T20 match was in 2022 against England in the T20 semi-final, which India lost. Since they didn’t play T20 in 2023, thats why they weren’t considered for the ICC top T20 team. On a different note, Rohit Sharma scored a century in the third T20 match against Afghanistan in 2024.
