Who is Gulbadin Naib?

Gulbadin Naib, born on March 16, 1991, is a cricketer from Afghanistan. He is an all-rounder, meaning he both bats and bowls. When it comes to batting, he uses his right hand, and he bowls with a right-arm fast-medium style. In April 2019, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) appointed Naib as the new captain for the One Day International (ODI) team before the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Naib started playing One Day International cricket against Canada during the 2011–13 ICC Intercontinental Cup One-Day. In the same tour, he also had his first Twenty20 match against Trinidad and Tobago in the Cricket Canada Summer Festival.
