Tiger 3 And Salman Khan Earn Much From Advance Booking

People are eagerly booking tickets in advance for Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi’s movie “Tiger 3.” It’s expected to have a huge opening on Diwali. The early booking for the first day, November 12, has already reached ₹12.43 crore, according to a report on Sacnilk.com.

Advance Booking For Tiger 3

The report reveals that a whopping 4,62,327 tickets have already been sold for the first day of “Tiger 3” release. This includes 4,35,913 tickets for the Hindi 2D version and 14,158 for the Telugu 2D version. The film will also be released in Tamil, with 1957 tickets already sold. There’s a lot of excitement for the IMAX version too, with 8203 tickets booked for the first day.

However, there’s a possibility that “Tiger 3” may not be released in Oman and Kuwait. The reported reason behind this decision is said to be a scene featuring Katrina Kaif in a towel.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, known for films like “Fan” and “Band Baaja Baaraat,” “Tiger 3” is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, following “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” and “Pathaan.” The speculation suggests that “Tiger 3” may include cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir.

When Tiger 3 is releasing?

The release of “Tiger 3” during Diwali is a noteworthy decision, marking the film as the first major Diwali release in several years. Rohan Malhotra, Vice President of YRF Distribution, shared insights into the unique strategy behind this decision. He explained, “Whenever we make decisions at Yash Raj Films, we always consider the overall impact on the movie’s final business. We have confidence in Salman Khan’s star power.”

Malhotra pointed out the choice of releasing the film on Lakshmi Puja, a day traditionally dedicated to home prayers and family celebrations during Diwali. According to Rohan Malhotra, Vice President of YRF Distribution, there hasn’t been a movie release on the day of Lakshmi Puja for the past 11 years.

This suggests that the decision to release “Tiger 3” on Lakshmi Puja is a unique and strategic move. He Also said that “We believe that there is a portion of the population that would like to celebrate Diwali by watching Salman Khan’s movie, especially since this is the third part of the Tiger series. The advance booking is significant even on the year’s weakest day for the film business.”

Speaking about the timing of the release, Malhotra noted, “It is the time after Lakshmi Puja. We’ve observed that many people attend night shows, so we’ve scheduled 1 o’clock and 12:30 shows which are seeing good sales. We anticipate a slight drop in the evening when most people will be engaged in puja activities. However, we expect them to come later at night to watch the film.”

Prediction For 1st Day Box Office Collection Of Tiger 3

Both Rathi and Johar are predicting that “Tiger 3” will likely earn around Rs 35 crore on its first day at the box office. While this falls short of the opening numbers for Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” (Rs 75 crore) and “Pathaan” (Rs 57 crore),Rathi is of the opinion that “Tiger 3” has the capability to attain similar levels of success in the long term.

Considering Salman Khan’s box office performance over the past six years, “Tiger 3” holds particular significance. Rathi emphasizes that while Salman Khan’s stardom might not be significantly impacted by a flop, for an actor of his stature, it’s crucial for each film to perform well financially. He states, “Of course, every film is important for a star of that stature, and not just for him, but also for the industry in general. We rely on these kinds of stars to bring in money that can sustain the exhibition and distribution sectors.”
