According to She the worst movies of the year, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” stood out as the clear winner. In 2023, there were many bad movies, but none could surpass this awful and disrespectful celebration of the Alpha male. The main character doesn’t hesitate to degrade the women in his life – mothers, sisters, wives, lovers – just to prove how ‘manly’ he is.
Scratch that, it’s not just degrading, it’s humiliating. Surprisingly, this film might become the biggest hit of the year. It has tremendously boosted Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Other actors, especially Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri, will also benefit in terms of both pay and recognition. However, this film will remain a stain on their professional records.

Another film that could potentially be as bad is “Adipurush,” which was supposed to be a respectful tribute to the revered figure Maryada Purushottam. However, this movie by Om Raut, featuring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon, was a complete failure from the start.
You can use different words – like Raghav instead of Ram, Janaki instead of Sita, and Lankesh instead of Raavan – but it’s clear that the film was a confused and tasteless combination of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Game of Thrones. It lacked any sense of respect and reverence.
In “Adipurush,” Prabhas plays Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon plays Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh (Raavan). If you want to cringe, just listen to the dialogues again. There are so many terrible ones that it’s hard to choose, but here’s one: “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki.” Ram ram.

And let’s not forget “The Kerala Story,” which claimed to be a noble effort in exposing evil plans to take Hindu and Christian girls from Kerala and convert them to Islam.
The director, Sudipto Sen, and creative producer, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, insisted that the film was based on truth, narrating the story of 32,000 young women held captive in ISIS camps on the Syria-Turkey border. However, it turned out the actual number was only 3, but the filmmakers didn’t seem to see a difference between the two numbers.
Not only does the movie have a biased perspective, but it also spreads misinformation deceptively, aiming to increase divisions in an already divided society. On top of that, it’s a poorly made and badly acted film.

After briefly helping out in the movie “Pathaan,” Salman Khan went on to star in his own series, “Tiger 3.” In this film, his co-star and wife, Katrina Kaif, almost dropped a towel in a scene, overshadowing Salman Khan himself. It seems like the only game left for Salman Khan is playing I-Spy.
It looks like there’s nothing else people want to see him do. Even his most devoted fans abandoned him in the terrible film “Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan,” where Bhaijaan plays yet another version of himself in a plot that seems to be just excited about having him in it, without caring much about having a proper story. Who cares, really, if there’s no real plot?
Shubhra Gupta Views About Tejas and Ganapath
The final spot on this list is a choice between two movies, “Tejas” and “Ganapath.” In the first one, Kangana Ranaut tries to play a patriot and a fighter pilot. While she isn’t as bad as the movie itself, she can’t prevent it from crashing.
As for “Ganapath,” starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Amitabh Bachchan, the best thing I can say is that it would have been better if it stayed as just an idea.
