28 MLAs Taken Oath To Become Ministers In MP Cabinet

In the recent cabinet expansion in Madhya Pradesh, 28 BJP leaders, including six ministers of state and four state ministers, were sworn in.

This marks the first expansion of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s government. Notable leaders, Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Singh Patel, took the oath as ministers. The move reflects the party’s efforts to strengthen and diversify its leadership in the state.

Today, MP Governor Mangubhai Patel appointed 28 ministers, including six with independent charge and four state ministers in MP cabinet. They took the oath of office in a ceremony.

Rakesh Singh, Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Karan Singh Verma, Nagar Singh Chauhan, Samapatiya Uike, Eidal Singh Kansana, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Inder Singh Parmar, Nirmala Bhuria, Tulsi Silawat, Vijay Shah, Vishwas Sarang, Govind Singh Rajput, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Rakesh Shukla, and Chetan Kashyap were sworn in as cabinet ministers, in addition to Vijayvargiya and Patel.

Radha Singh, Pratima Bagri, Dilip Ahirwar, and Narendra Shivaji Patel took the oath as Ministers of State.

Krishna Gaur, Dharmendra Lodhi, Dilip Jaiswal, Gautam Tetwal, Lakhan Patel, and Narayan Panwar were sworn in as Ministers of State (Independent Charge).

Earlier today, CM Yadav announced that the state cabinet members would take their oaths around 3:30 pm. In the morning, he met Governor Mangubhai C Patel at Raj Bhawan in Bhopal.

The oath ceremony, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National Chief JP Nadda, state BJP chief VD Sharma, and other senior party leaders, took place at 3:30 pm.

CM Yadav expressed confidence that the new cabinet, with their support, would work towards the state’s betterment.

Mohan Yadav became a surprising choice for the position of Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister, taking over from four-time CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

The BJP selected Yadav to counter dissatisfaction among voters leading up to the 2024 general elections. Additionally, the party sought to gain support from the significant OBC community with this strategic move.
