Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Ms Dhoni With Other Cricketers Reached To Ram Mandir, Ayodhya

Today is the highly anticipated inauguration of the impressive Ram mandir in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony, known as ‘pran pratistha,’ for Ram Lalla will happen with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and around 7,000 special guests in attendance. These guests include notable politicians, athletes, movie stars, and business leaders.

Famous Indian cricket players like Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Virendra Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja have been invited to the Ram temple event.

According to a post in X, the convoy of Virat Kohli has reached Ayodhya. He was spotted in a Range Rover Discovery with his wife, Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli has apparently arrived at Ram mandir in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. A video circulating on social media shows Virat’s convoy entering the city, although its authenticity is yet to be confirmed. Virat, along with several other cricketers like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, R Ashwin, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Mithali Raj, received invitations for the event.

BCCI granted Virat Kohli a day off to attend this historic ceremony. After the second T20I against Afghanistan, Virat flew from Indore to Mumbai to receive the invitation for the Pran Pratishtha.

Sachin Tendulkar Reached to Ayodhya

Sachin Tendulkar, the cricketing legend, has departed for Ayodhya. On Sunday evening, he was seen at Mumbai Airport, heading to the historic city in Uttar Pradesh.

As per a post on X, former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni is expected to arrive in Ayodhya alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event will also be attended by other notable guests such as Ambani, Adani, and more. The details are yet to be confirmed.

Other Cricketers, Who Reached Ram Mandir in Ayodhya

Earlier today, experienced spinner Anil Kumble and former fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad arrived in Ayodhya for the temple inauguration. There are also reports circulating in the media about Sachin Tendulkar and Ravindra Jadeja reaching Ayodhya. Venkatesh Prasad shared on X, confirming his arrival in the holy city, expressing excitement to witness a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Timing For Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

The significant ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony for Lord Ram at the grand Ram Mandir is set to take place on January 22, 2024. This ceremony is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm on that day.
