Who is Arun Yogiraj? The idol of Lord Ram is Selected for Ram Mandir Ayodhya?

Arun Yogiraj, a talented sculptor from a family of famous sculptors in Mysore for five generations, has been recognized for having his sculpture chosen to be placed in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

On Monday, Union minister Pralhad Joshi announced on social media that they have chosen the idol for the installation of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. The idol, crafted by the famous sculptor Yogiraj Arun from our country, will be placed in Ayodhya.

The idol of Lord Rama, created by sculptor Arun Yogiraj from Mysuru, has been chosen for placement in the impressive Sri Rama Mandir in Ayodhya. This news has brought joy to Rama devotees in the state. Despite not receiving official confirmation, Arun learned about the acceptance of his sculpture through a message from senior BJP leaders.

The idol of Lord Ram, to be placed in the Ayodhya Ram temple, has been revealed. Out of three options, Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj’s Ram Lalla was chosen by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra, as announced by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.

The minister shared on social media, “Where Rama is, there is Hanuman.” He also mentioned, “The selection of the idol for the Prana Pratishtapana of Lord Rama in Ayodhya has been finalized. Our proud sculptor Mr. @yogiraj_arun, renowned in our country, crafted the idol of Lord Rama, which will be placed in Ayodhya. This is a significant contribution from Karnataka, the land of Hanuman.”

What Arun Yogiraj Said?

Arun mentioned, “The statue should depict a divine child because it represents the incarnation of God. When people see the statue, they should sense its divinity.”

“With the idea of combining divinity and a child-like appearance, I began working on it around six to seven months ago. Now, I am very pleased. It’s not just about being selected; people should appreciate it. That’s when I’ll be truly happy,” added the sculptor.
