Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has had two big hit movies this year, and now he’s gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dunki.’ SRK recently announced that ‘Dunki’ will release in theaters around Christmas But Dunki release Date Changed As it will release In Cinemas One Day Earlier As before.
However, this news sparked discussions online about a potential clash at the box office with the film ‘Salaar: Part 1,’ starring Prabhas, which is scheduled to release on December 22. It is feared that if both movies release on the same date, the makers might face financial losses.

Dunki Postponed To One Day Earlier
There’s been a heated online dispute between fans of Prabhas and Shah Rukh Khan. Now, there’s news that the release of SRK’s film Dunki release date might be pushed back. A news page on X (formerly Twitter), Lets Cinema, mentioned that there are reports about the delay being due to extended post-production work.

However, there’s no official confirmation from the makers yet. Critics and industry experts suggest that it would be better for both ‘Salaar’ and ‘Dunki’ to avoid releasing on the same date to prevent box office clashes.

Shah Rukh Khan mentioned, “We kicked off on January 26 with ‘Pathaan,’ followed by the release of ‘Jawan’ on Janmashtami. As New Year and Christmas are around the corner, we’ve decided to release ‘Dunki.’ I always prioritize national integration. Moreover, when my film hits the screens, it’s like a festive celebration.”

Instead of its original dunki release date on December 22, the movie ‘Dunki’ will now hit theaters a day earlier on December 21. Shah Rukh Khan himself shared the official trailer on Instagram, and towards the end of the video, it says, “In cinemas 21st December.” Initially, ‘Dunki’ was supposed to clash with Prabhas’ film ‘Salaar’ on December 22.
